Monteverro is the fruit of our passion. The idea of running a high-end winery in Tuscany stems from our unbridled enthusiasm for outstanding wine. The love of the Maremma region and our desire to achieve the utmost every day are our inspiration. The result is some of the best and most exceptional wines in the world. This is not only thanks to our great exposure, our amazing slopes, the sea breeze and the red clay soil with large rocks, but of course to the people that make Monteverro so unique. It is the pure joy to be found in making magnificent wine that obliges us to take exceptional care and attention in picking and pressing only the very best grapes.
We regard our wine as a total work of art – one sees it, smells it and tastes it. And of this, each and every one of us is proud.

Toscana 2013

BMS Review
Faboulas structure for the flagship wine of this top Super-Tuscan producer, made from 40% Cabernet franc, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot. This wine exhumes aromas of black current, blueberries, lavender, and slate, and nuts. This wine is powerful and full bodied with balanced alcohol, tannis and acidity. Amazing now or for many years to come

This is a Bordeaux blend that competes with the best of Tuscany such as Sassiciaia and Ornellaia. It's so structured and refined with beautiful length and sophistication. Full body and gorgeous tension. Fantastic aromas and flavors of currants, plums and tile. Hints of hazelnuts and lavender. Linear and polished on the finish. A wine that delivers so much now but will be even better in four to five years. Best ever from here. From organically grown grapes.

This has wonderful notes of fresh brambleberries, Chinese plums, Indian spices, forest floor, blueberry essence and violets. The palate is full and fruit-forward yet reserved and savory at the same time. So well structured. Such an enticing blend of syrah and grenache, as always.
